THE GET DOWN at Avondale Park
Seasick Records and Yellowhammer Creative present the first Get Down, a day-long music fest with art/music/records/vintage. Come see William Tyler & The Impossible Truth, Will Stewart, Jahnah Camille on the beautiful amphitheater stage—there will also be vendors, food, and drinks!

ALABAMA AUDUBON’S NATURE@NOON BIRD WALK
Free with Registration
The first event for the 2023 fall season, every month Alabama Audubon offers an opportunity to participate in an hour-long, Friday lunchtime walk that explores different locations each month.
The September walk will be led Executive Director, Dr. Scot Duncan, here in our park. Birding here along the forest edge in early fall is one of the best places to spot migrating warblers and other birds including the Magnolia Warbler, American Redstart, and the Tennessee Warbler.
